López on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Pennsylvania
Tuesday, August 13th , 2047
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Ohio's Tomás López made it happen today against the Railroaders. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Knights to a 6-4 win at Huntington Park.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," López said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Tomás López singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
In 112 games this season López has compiled a .273 batting average with 118 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 53 times and knocked in 43 runs.
