Idaho Takes Title Tuesday, November 5th , 2047 With a 7-4 win over the Maryland Bridegrooms tonight at Bridegrooms Stadium, the Idaho Steelheads wrapped up their 4th title in team history. Idaho left little doubt who was the better club. "Team" was the word of the day as the Steelheads celebrated the culmination of their banner year in the victors clubhouse following the game. "Hitting, pitching, fielding; those are all things you need to win, but most importantly you need a team, a team that works together toward the same collective goal," said Idaho manager . "Our players felt that way all year and they played that way. When one guy had an off day, 24 others stepped up their game and filled the void." A jovial mood filled the air as Idaho celebrated into the night. The city's mayor said parade plans were underway and a "huge celebration" in the works. "We're going to celebrate our team, our championship Idaho Steelheads," he said. The champions completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the Frontier League West and a 95-68 record.
