Blue Pirates End Pelan's Streak Friday, July 10th , 2048 The 20-game hitting streak of Bubba Pelan has come to an end. The Pennsylvania Railroaders third baseman went 0-for-4 today in his team's 4-0 loss to the Ontario Blue Pirates at PNC Park. "It's not just Bubba who came up short today," Railroaders manager said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." Pelan on the season is hitting .309 with 8 home runs.
