Ontario, Idaho Trade Made Wednesday, July 15th , 2048 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Blue Pirates and Steelheads have agreed to a swap. Idaho will get a 5th round draft pick with Ontario receiving 34-year-old minor league RF Luis González in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. So far this year González has hit .183 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
