José González Captures PL Award Monday, July 27th , 2048 The Patriot League made it official today: José González is the Player of the Week. He really glistened on the diamond this week with a .375 average to take home the honor. The Maryland first baseman went 9-for-24, drove in 10 runs, scored 8 times and hit 5 home runs. So far this season, González has recorded a .243 batting average with 75 hits, 20 home runs, 60 RBIs, 39 runs scored and a .285 OBP. |
