Cox Blanks Colorado Thursday, June 10th , 2049 The Indiana Vipers shut out the Colorado Bears 10-0 today behind the strong pitching of Mike Cox. Cox surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 5. Following the last out, Cox appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Colorado manager , who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Cox's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Bears skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Vipers press conference, Cox confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Cox said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Indiana manager Josh Vanderbilt added.
