Annable 5-for-5 Against New Jersey Friday, June 18th , 2049 Conor Annable exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Johnson & Johnson Field. The Ohio right fielder had a field day against the New Jersey Athletics, finishing with a 5-for-5 day, even as his club took the loss, 8-6. "It's a shame that we lost the game," he said later. "It's really hard to enjoy what I did today. You would think 5 hits would do it." Conor Annable singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date this year Annable is batting .302 with no home runs.
