Virginia Loses Jason Flood for Season
Saturday, June 19th , 2049
When Virginia reliever Jason Flood was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Diamond Club-Hollers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Flood had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 7 months.

Flood has taken the mound for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-2 record with a 7.04 ERA. The Virginia reliever has limited opposing batters to a .382 batting average.
