Josh Garren Out for Season Sunday, July 11th , 2049 The Virginia Diamond Club were dealt a severe blow when Josh Garren was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the West Virginia Hollers. After the game, the team trainer reported Garren might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a torn thigh muscle. They indicated it would take Garren at least 4 months to heal. Posting a .369 batting average to date, Garren has 19 home runs and 58 RBIs. |
