Carpenter Snags PL Top Hurler Trophy Sunday, August 1st , 2049 In July, Alan Carpenter tore through the Patriot League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Georgia starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.50 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 36 innings he collected 30 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .208 average. For the season Carpenter has compiled a 11-3 record with a 3.71 ERA. |
