League Suspends Silva and Yi for Fisticuffs Thursday, September 30th , 2049 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Idaho-West Virginia contest at Albertson's Field. The Steelheads Raúl Silva and the Hollers Hoon Yi will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this season Silva has hit .259 with 33 home runs, 99 RBIs and scored 94 times. So far this year Yi has made 33 starts, tossed 219.1 innings, struck out 154 batters and walked 22. His record is 18-7 with a 2.83 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .248 batting average. |
