30 Games in a Row for Blais Tuesday, October 5th , 2049 The hot bat of Bears center fielder Devlyn Blais continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 30 games after he went 3-for-6 in today's 8-7 loss to the Mallards at Mountain View Ballpark. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Devlyn Blais singled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, walked in the 12th and flied out in the 15th. For the season Blais has produced 201 hits in 550 at-bats for a .365 average with 15 home runs and gotten on base at a .419 clip. |
