Blais Stretches Hit String to 31 Wednesday, October 6th , 2049 The hitting streak for Colorado center fielder Devlyn Blais now stands at 31 games, but the Bears dropped today's contest 5-2 to the California Mallards. Blais went 1-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Devlyn Blais flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Blais has hit .364 with 15 home runs and 67 RBIs. |
