Hitting Streak Still Alive for Blais Thursday, October 7th , 2049 The hitting streak for Colorado center fielder Devlyn Blais now stands at 32 games, but the Bears dropped today's contest 8-4 to the California Mallards. Blais went 3-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 3 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Devlyn Blais singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Blais has hit at a .366 clip with 68 RBIs, 15 home runs and 94 runs scored. He has played in 135 games. |
