More Woes For Bridegrooms Jean-Claude Thomas Sunday, July 17th , 2050 The Maryland Bridegrooms received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Jean-Claude Thomas would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Thomas, who is currently out with an oblique strain, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 24-year-old reliever will have to spend another 4 days in treatment. This season Thomas has made 30 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark and a 2.04 ERA. In pitching 39.2 innings, he has totaled 41 strikeouts and 14 walks. |
