Fujihara and Sullivan Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, July 31st , 2050 Kei Fujihara of the New Jersey Athletics and Alex Sullivan of the Maryland Bridegrooms will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Athletics-Bridegrooms game at Johnson & Johnson Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Fujihara and Sullivan will begin serving them soon. So far this year Fujihara is hitting .217 with no home runs. On the year, Sullivan has recorded no saves with a 2-0 record over 11 innings. He has mowed down 12 batters on strikes and walked 7 with an ERA of 5.73. |
