Season Ends for Chris Tremblett of New York
Tuesday, August 9th , 2050
The doctors have spoken and Chris Tremblett of the New York Twin Towers didn't like what he heard. The 36-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Tremblett sustained his season-ending injury during the Alabama Yellowhammers game yesterday at Madison County Grounds. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the New York medical staff reported Tremblett had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months.

For the year Tremblett has saved 2 games while posting an ERA of 3.43 and 55 strikeouts in 60.1 innings. His totals also include a 2-3 record in 27 relief appearances.
