League Gives Delgado 3-Game Suspension Wednesday, April 19th , 2051 Pennsylvania's José Delgado has been given a 3-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Georgia Titans at PNC Park. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Delgado slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Delgado was ejected. This season Delgado is batting at a .310 clip with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. |
