League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Oregon Prevails
Tuesday, November 7th , 2051
The Oregon Explorers and New Mexico Danger didn't hold back anything in the League Championship Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Federation Cup Series.

Oregon won the final game by a score of 4-1 at The Danger Zone and that concluded the series, 4-3.

"Relief is the biggest thing," Oregon left fielder José Mendoza said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and New Mexico deserves credit for the hard fight."

Mendoza paced the Oregon offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .387 with a .406 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 11 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Federation Cup Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
