Titans Morales and Knights Mendoza Suspended for Fight Saturday, August 10th , 2052 If there wasn't a history between Alfredo Morales of Georgia and Jorge Mendoza of Ohio, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Morales said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This season Morales is hitting .293 with 44 hits, no home runs, 14 RBIs, scored 9 runs and played in 46 games. Thus far this season, Mendoza has worked 148.1 innings with 137 strikeouts en route to a 9-7 record and a 3.46 ERA. |
