Crews Tags Titans for 5 Hits Sunday, September 22nd , 2052 It seemed that North Carolina shortstop Rod Crews could do no wrong as the Aviators KO'd the Titans, 8-1 today. Crews rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Titans hurlers were throwing. "I think the Aviators were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Georgia fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Crews in the postgame press interview. Rod Crews doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
