Curnow Hittin' on All Cylinders Wednesday, August 20th , 2053 Brent Curnow punished the Wilmington Eagles today, leading the Ducks to a 28-10 win. In doing so, Curnow hit for the cycle, tagging the Eagles for 4 hits in 6 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Eugene third baseman said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Curnow also had 6 runs batted in and 4 runs scored in the game at Eagles Ballpark. Brent Curnow flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Graham in the 8th and hit a three-run triple in the 9th.
