Sluggers Watkins and Rapids Marshall Suspended for Fight Wednesday, August 27th , 2053 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Louisville-Idaho Falls contest at Louisville Park. The Sluggers Kevin Watkins and the Rapids Alan Marshall will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the season Watkins is batting .305 with 58 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 30 times and batted in 24. To date this season Marshall sports a 3-2 mark with a 3.65 ERA in 0 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .267 batting average and has 39 strikeouts in 37 innings. |
