Playoffs? No Chance for Eugene Thursday, August 28th , 2053 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Eugene Ducks still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Eugene last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 40-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ducks have missed the playoffs 5 times. Eugene has won the Explorer Cup 2 times in their history. |
