Dempsey Goes 5-for-5 Against Glendale Saturday, September 6th , 2053 The St. Louis Sportsman upended the Glendale Cobras at Sportsman Park today, thanks in large part to second baseman Jon Dempsey, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Sportsman to a 10-1 victory. Jon Dempsey singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ambrosio López in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
