ELE Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 29th , 2053 2053 was a year to remember for Dan Howard. He made 54 relief appearances and had 33 saves, 51 strikeouts, 25 walks and a record of 3 wins and 7 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 30-year-old has been named the East Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Andy Schmitt of the Annapolis Destroyers finished second in voting, while Sansão Figueiredo of the Annapolis Destroyers finished third.
