Season-Ending Injury for Bud Ellis Wednesday, June 3rd , 2054 The season is ending on a bad note for Bud Ellis, center fielder for the Colorado Springs Avalanche. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Ellis was hurt against the Eugene Ducks while running the bases. He suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will be out for at least 5 months. Presently Ellis is batting .228 and has collected 1 home run, 8 RBIs, .306 OBP and scored 19 runs. |
