Mike Palmer Bashes Three over the Wall Sunday, July 4th , 2055 Mike Palmer showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Pittsburgh Crawfords and sparked the Dodgers to a 12-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Brooklyn Park." For the day, Palmer collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Brooklyn skipper said. "Mike really put on a show." Mike Palmer hit a two-run home run off Dave Rankin in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Héctor López in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Héctor López in the 8th.
