ELW Names Rapids Lowe Winner Monday, July 19th , 2055 So far in his young career, Dewey Lowe has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Idaho Falls Rapids third baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This year Lowe has socked 86 hits in 258 at-bats for a .333 average with 19 home runs. He is getting on base at a .342 pace and his totals also include 54 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
