Wednesday, August 25th , 2055
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Eugene Ballpark buzzing, Eugene Ducks catcher Darrel Hathaway blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 8-4 win over the Oklahoma City Whirlwind.
"Everything was clicking," Hathaway told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Hathaway shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Ducks manager said. "Darrel played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Darrel Hathaway hit a three-run home run off Bob Newman in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bob Newman in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Bob Newman in the 6th and flied out in the 7th.
