ELE Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Friday, October 22nd , 2055 He may only be 23, but Jim Patterson of the Birmingham Vulcans has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the East. The reliever was today named the ELE Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2055. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 3 saves in 49 relief appearances and 66 strikeouts in 79 innings. He had a record of 11-5 to go with his 3.53 ERA. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mike Hughes of the Birmingham Vulcans finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Sansão Figueiredo of the Annapolis Destroyers finished third with 5 first place votes.
