Dan Wightman of the St. Louis Sportsman had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Hitter for 2055.

The 35-year-old first baseman put up a .359 average and a .385 on-base percentage, piling up 208 hits, 46 doubles, 3 triples, 36 home runs, 124 RBIs and 110 runs scored.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Omar Ortiz of the Rochester Spartans finished second in voting, while Bob Howard of the Glendale Cobras finished third.
