Grizzlies End Land's Streak Wednesday, April 19th , 2056 Mike Land of the Atlanta Peaches came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the center fielder, Atlanta dropped the game to the Fresno Grizzlies 3-2. "It was not a good day today," Land told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Currently Land has 2 home runs and a .392 batting average. |
