Langille Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, May 17th , 2056 The number just keeps getting higher. St. Louis catcher Jay Langille has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the St. Louis took the 5-3 win over the Olympia Battle Cats at Battle Cats Park. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Olympia manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Jay Langille flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. This year Langille has hit at a .371 clip with 18 RBIs, 6 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
