García Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, July 22nd , 2056 It was a big day for Jesús García and he brought the Idaho Falls Rapids along for the ride. García led his club to a 19-8 victory over the St. Louis Sportsman today at Sportsman Park, smoking St. Louis pitching for 6 hits in 7 at-bats. The 27-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Jesús García singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Ken Edwards in the 9th.
