5-for-5 Day for McGhee Sunday, August 6th , 2056 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Steve McGhee today. McGhee went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Idaho Falls pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Rapids Field, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Glendale Cobras had a 5-0 victory over the Rapids. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Steve McGhee singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Currently McGhee is batting .324 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs.
