Takano Sizzles -- Smokes Turtles for 5 Hits Saturday, September 9th , 2056 Louisville shortstop Hogai Takano had a big day at Turtles Field today against the San Antonio Turtles. The 27-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Sluggers to a 20-3 triumph over San Antonio. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Takano said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Hogai Takano hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
