ELW Player of the Week Selected Monday, September 11th , 2056 The hottest bat of the week belonged to St. Louis first baseman Chris Green. He went on a rampage last week against ELW hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 19 at-bats for a .474 average while hitting 5 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the West Player of the Week trophy. Green was honored today at a press conference. In 128 games this season Green is batting .245 with 105 hits and 43 home runs. He has scored 87 runs and driven in 98. |
