Carlos Arriaga Wins MVP Trophy
Sunday, October 29th , 2056
He may have less experience than most of his Explorer League peers, but that didn't slow Carlos Arriaga down at all in 2056.

At the age of 21, the St. Louis left fielder has been named the winner of the West Most Valuable Hitter.

He had a .303 batting average and a .410 on-base percentage this year. In 138 games he piled up 160 hits, 25 doubles, 8 triples, 65 home runs, 156 RBIs and 143 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tim Thomas of the San Antonio Turtles finished second in voting, while Alex McCarthy of the Eugene Ducks finished third.
