Young Star Helps Propel West to Win in Midseason Classic Tuesday, July 8th , 2059 There's a whole lot of pride on the line when the best baseball players throughout Explorer League gather for the all-star game. It was no different this year, as the West bested the East by a score of 10-2, in a spirited contest played at Crawfords Field. "It might be a little lower intensity than the regular season or playoffs, but everyone in that clubhouse still wants to win this game," said Rudy Tolbert of the West, who was named the game MVP. In his 262-game career Tolbert has tagged 270 hits with 36 doubles, 8 triples and 51 home runs. His lifetime batting average is .307 with 168 RBIs and 145 runs scored.
