Hit Parade: Burke Pops 5 Hits Friday, July 11th , 2059 Jeremiah Burke got the glory and the headlines today, but the Glendale Cobras left with the win. The St. Louis catcher easily handled the Cobras pitching, going 5-for-5, but his St. Louis Sportsman came out on the short end of the 9-5 score. Burke told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Jeremiah Burke singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
