Big Day with Bat: Bennett 5-for-7 Tuesday, July 15th , 2059 It was a great day at the plate for Dominic Bennett. For his Toronto Blue Jays, the day was not nearly as good. The first baseman collected 5 hits in 7 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Cleveland Attack snatched the victory, topping the Blue Jays by a score of 11-9. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Bennett said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Dominic Bennett hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, hit an RBI double in the 14th and singled in the 16th.
