Parsons's Season Could be Over Tuesday, August 26th , 2059 The season is finished for Darren Parsons of the Annapolis Destroyers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Destroyers reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Team doctors said it would take at least 14 months to heal. Parsons has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 11-6 record with a 3.58 ERA. The Annapolis reliever has limited opposing batters to a .283 batting average. |
