Wilmington's Brand Top Pitcher in August Monday, September 1st , 2059 Jack Brand had an outstanding August -- so good that the East presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Eagles would be without Brand," one fan is quoted as saying. In August Brand dominated the competition, running up a 4-1 record, a 2.66 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 40.2 innings. This season Brand has compiled a 10-4 mark with a 4.11 ERA. |
