Dodgers Win Wildcard Series Saturday, September 20th , 2059 Fans of the Wilmington Eagles groaned when Alex Mota stepped up to the plate in the Wildcard Series. And for good reason too, as the Brooklyn Dodgers player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 3-1 series win over the Eagles. The series was clinched tonight at Brooklyn Park, with Brooklyn coming out on top 10-4 in the deciding game. Mota's strong series included a .556 batting average, with a .619 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Brooklyn Dodgers will play against the Fresno Grizzlies in the next round. Fresno had a bye in the Wildcard Series.
