Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, San Antonio Prevails Tuesday, September 23rd , 2059 The San Antonio Turtles were paced by a strong offensive output from Riley Lennon as they downed the Olympia Battle Cats 3-2 to win the Wildcard Series. San Antonio won the final game by a score of 4-1 at Turtles Field to send themselves off to the League Championship Series. "I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said third baseman Lennon, who was named MVP. For the series, the MVP hit .333 with a .364 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The San Antonio Turtles will play against the Oklahoma City Whirlwind in the next round. Oklahoma City had a bye in the Wildcard Series.
