The Toronto Blue Jays took the 7-4 win today over the Annapolis Destroyers, but the Destroyers mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 22-game hitting streak of Blue Jays second baseman Juan Carlos Reynoso. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Reynoso," Annapolis manager commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Blue Jays have other hitters and they did their job today." |
