League KO's Red Sox-Indians Players with 2-Game Suspensions Wednesday, August 7th , 2047 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Louisville-Indianapolis game at Louisville Park. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Red Sox Hirohisa Eida and the Indians Raúl Alonso were each issued 2-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. So far this year, Eida is batting .346 with 9 home runs and 31 RBIs. On the season Alonso has a 1-3 record with a 6.28 ERA. |
