Atlanta Celebrates Wild Card Win Thursday, September 5th , 2047 The Atlanta Peaches certainly made things interesting. The East club have battled to the bitter end and have come up with a wild card berth. "It's satisfying to clinch the playoffs so late in the season," said starting pitcher Harland Guillou. "You start to doubt yourself and wonder if you can even make it." But the Peaches have in fact made it, with their 76-64 record holding up to now give them a chance at the franchise's 7th Explorer League championship. |
