Dodgers End Nash's Streak
Wednesday, July 22nd , 2048
Don Nash's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today as the Pittsburgh Crawfords suffered a 11-4 setback against the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Nash went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. He was visibly upset during a postgame press conference, but it appeared that the streak had little to do with it.

"The hitting streak was one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep about it tonight," he said. "On the other hand, I am going to lose sleep about dropping this game today."

This season Nash has delivered 111 hits in 297 at-bats for a .374 average with 18 home runs. He is getting on base at a .435 clip and his totals also include 69 RBIs and 51 runs scored. This year Nash has played in 83 games.
